There are countless movies about space, and soon, we could see the first movie shot IN space starring none other than Hollywood's favorite daredevil Tom Cruise. Deadline is reporting that Cruise is in talks with SpaceX and NASA to film an action-adventure feature in outer space. While the actor has famously performed a litany of stunts while portraying super spy Ethan Hunt in the Mission Impossible franchise, including a HALO jump and scaling the Burj Khalifa, this upcoming space project will not be part of the series. The movie is in early development and no studios are involved yet so it could be some time before we see the trailblazing project in theaters.
